This is a recipe from my best friend and as you can see it was just before the start of Summer around 2004 I think. They just finished moving to their new house but she still had time to send me her family Tomato Pie recipe. It is delicious! I use farmer's market heirloom tomatoes and Gruyere cheese. Now go make one and have a nice glass of wine too!

Southern Tomato Pie
